Ultra Cyber Guardian Lite

Protectorus’ main product is Ultra Cyber Guardian. Ultra Cyber Guardian protects all data using
encryption and other security mechanisms.

Protectorus encrypts your databases so that, in the event that bad actors get past your security
and accesses them, any information that they acquire is completely unreadable by them.
Protectorus offers three versions of Ultra Cyber Guardian:

Ultra Cyber Guardian Lite

The lite Protectorus configuration is shown in Figure 1 below:

The lite system has the following components:

· The Encryption/Decryption Component — Handles encrypption and decryption of
data
· The Keyholder — Manages encryption/decryption keys
· The Datastore — The encrypted version of your database

Note that the Query API is provided to us by you, or it could be provided by us (if you don’t have
one). Note also that the basic system will integrate with any security system that you may have.
Using a special tool, we will encrypt your database. The encryption and the decryption of the
data will be transparent to your users. The KeyHolder uses the users’ encryption keys to encrypt
and decrypt the data.

Encryption keys are randomly generated. They are then stored by the KeyHolder. The
KeyHolder allows the user access to his/her encryption key whenever reading or writing to the
Datastore. It does this behind the scenes so that the user never sees or uses it directly.
